My motherland

 My motherland  is Sri Lanka🇱🇰.It is one of the beautiful country of the world. It is called the pearl of the Indian ocean.

Sri Lanka is an asian country. Our president is excellency Mr.Ranil Wickramasinghe and our prime minister is Mr. Dinesh Gunawardhana. Sri Jayawardhanapura Kotte is our capital city and Colombo is our commercial city. 

Sri Lanka is an agricultural country.Our staple food is rice.Tea,Coconut and Rubber are three main exports of our country.

 

           

     The world famous shrine ,temple of the tooth situated at Kandy.The eight wonder called Sigiriya,which was build by king Kashyapa is situated in Dambulla.

 My motherland is beautiful country with full of natural re-sourses. The highest mountain is Piduruthalagala and longest river is Mahaweli. We have many beautiful places in our country. There are ccolourful botanical gardens in Peradeniya and Haggala. The sandy beaches in Batticolow,Trincomalee and Galle add colour to my country.

            Sri Lankans are very hospitable peoples.And they are always ready to welcome visitors warmly.I 'm proud to be a Sri Lankan. I do my very best to protect good name of my country.
